ETC – Evacuated Tube Collector uses borosilicate vacuum tubes as heat collector media. The heat collected is then transferred to water flowing in inner tube. The hot water moves to thermally insulated water tank connected to ETC tubes. We can use hot water stored in collector tank when required.
FPC Type Solar Water Heater
FPC – Flat Plate Collector type Solar water heating system is a device that heats water using heat energy from the SUN. This energy is totally free. This system includes rectangular collector plates and insulated water storage tanks and connecting pipes.
The collector plate comprises of copper or aluminum absorbing plates coated in black color to absorb heat. Copper tube coils are fitted over the absorber plates. Water in tank circulates through the copper tube and collects heat. Then the hot water flows to insulated storage tank. We can use hot water as per our requirement.
